Dr. Daurene Lewis named to the Board of Directors of Canada Post Corporation

Mr. Gordon Feeney, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Canada Post Corporation, is pleased to announce that Dr. Daurene Lewis of Bedford, Nova Scotia, has been appointed a director of the Corporation.

Dr. Lewis, a registered nurse who holds a Diploma in Teaching in Schools of Nursing from Dalhousie University and an MBA from Saint Mary's University, has held several positions within the health care and community sectors, including Director of the Centre for Women in Business at Mount Saint Vincent University. She is currently Principal of the Institute of Technology Campus of the Nova Scotia Community College.

"We are delighted to welcome Dr. Lewis as a member of the Canada Post Board of Directors," Mr. Feeney said. "We look forward to working with this exceptional person whose qualifications we are convinced will bring great value and perspective to our deliberations."

Dr. Lewis has been heavily involved in community activities over the years and has also served on many other national and provincial boards. She has received many awards, including an honorary degree from Mount Saint Vincent University and the Order of Canada.
