Financial Statements

This document contains the audited Financial Statements of the Canada Post Foundation for Mental Illness and Mental Health as approved by the Foundation’s Audit Committee and Board of Trustees.

The Canada Post Foundation for Mental Illness and Mental Health funds projects in any given year from donations received in the prior year. As a result, the Foundation's balance sheet for 2010 shows net assets of $2,233,896; this money will be used to fund projects in 2011.

97.5% of all donations received by the Foundation are used to provide funding for projects undertaken by community-based organizations. Only 2.5% of contributions are used to cover overhead costs.
